🍅 One of my favorite summer time-savers! Instead of spending hours making sauce during the hottest part of the summer, I simply wash, core, and cut up ripe tomatoes, then freeze them until I'm ready. When they thaw, much of the excess water drains away, which means less cooking time and a richer sauce. And here's the best part—you don't have to grow your own tomatoes to preserve them! Supporting your local farmers is a wonderful way to fill your freezer and pantry while keeping your dollars in your community. Know your farmers and support local businesses.
